iPeel‑Gut Pro

iPeel-Gut Pro  is a highly permeable multilayer casing with a matting effect, which makes it possible to achieve the maximum similarity of the finished product to the products packaged in natural casings.

The iPeel-Gut Pro casing is made from polymer materials allowed for contact with food products.

• easy removal off the product by the end consumer – spiral peeling;
• matting effect;
• high mechanical strength and heat resistance significantly extend the processing temperature range in comparison with natural and collagen casings;
• high permeability contributes to the formation of a dense coagulated protein crust, and imparts to the products the traditional taste and flavor of smoke;
• microbiological resistance;
• optimal OTR and WVTR compared with collagen and cellulose casings at the temperature of (+2...+6 ºC) used for storage of the finished products;
• better preservation of the flavor of smoke and spices in the finished product throughout the shelf life;
• reduced weight losses (≈ 5 – 7%) during the storage;
• retarded process of syneresis (liquid separation) in the finished product inside a vacuum package (≈2 times).

The casing can be supplied straight or curved.

The iPeel-Gut Pro casing is suitable for single- or double-side printing. The number of print colors varies from 1+0 to 6+6.

The curved version is suitable only for:

– single-side printing with face positioning;

– double-side printing without positioning (i.e. when the artwork is background printing).
